Move from CA to CT
After evaluating several companies, I chose Maffucci Moving for my cross-country move and I’m very happy I did. Firstly, I had a very tight time window and Joel made it happen when others told me it wasn't possible. Diane took care of the details and couldn't have been nicer. Both crews were extremely attentive, personable and genuinely cared about doing a great job for us. In particular, the SF crew (with driver Oscar) was committed to fitting all the stuff we needed to bring - and that was no small task! They rearranged the truck to make sure items from our storage locker would fit when they could easily have just told us that it wouldn't fit. (we were accepting of that potential outcome but they were determined to make it work). The CT crew (with driver John) couldn't have been nicer and equally caring with the move-in, providing advice on where items would fit and solving a difficult problem when moving my desk into an office with a narrow doorway. John was in regular contact throughout the cross-country trip so I could easily plan to be in CT at the right time. Without a doubt I hope to have the same
Completely satisfied
I wish I could give this company more then 5 stars. Tamika helped schedule everything for me and the crew Brian, Jose& Manny made moving so easy. They never stopped working and were extremely friendly and accommodating through the whole process. I have used them 3 times and have been a very satisfied customer.
Complex Move
Maffucci executed two moves for us: from our large apartment in Manhattan to another apartment here and to our house in East Hampton. They crated some large pieces of art and a large mirror on Monday; carried out the transfers on Tuesday and Wednesday. They were very understanding and accommodating of our changing schedules and requirements. They packed everything efficiently and very carefully, transported very quickly, unpacked everything, again very carefully, and placed the furniture where directed. Excellent crew. Extremely professional at all stages.
Relocation from NJ to MD
I want to thank Maffucci Moving & Storage for making our interstate relocation easy and seamless. From the initial consultation Marlon worked through details of our move, even when our technology made it difficult to video chat and virtually survey the space. Thru text and pictures, he provided a very accurate estimate. The move team led by Franco was extremely efficient and accommodating as we added “a few more items” to pack at the last minute. At both locations, the truck arrived on time. All our items arrived safe and damage free. I liked that the same crew from NJ came to unload the truck in MD. They set up some heavy dining room furniture and made sure we were happy with the location before they departed. I would recommend this moving company for local or long-distance moves.
I didn't need to worry!
We contracted with Maffucci Storage to pack and store the contents of our 1 Bedroom apt in Chelsea, Manhattan. When we find and rent a new apt in California they will ship everything to the new location. From the initial visit to describe their services and give us an estimate, to scheduling, and then finally packing our contents the entire team at Maffucci was outstanding. Communication was great. Since I worry a lot, I would call them with questions, and always got an immediate and complete answer. The crew that wrapped and packed our contents arrived exactly on time and were amazing. There were one or two items I worried might be difficult to pack and move, but they handled them perfectly, I needn't have worried. Based on our experience, I highly recommend Maffucci Storage.

Moving over 25 years of life in a 4200 square foot apartment from thousands of miles away is no easy task. Once I interviewed four companies, I chose Maffucci and am delighted to note that what appeared as a super stressful operation, was managed, organized and executed with the highest level of professionalism, efficiency and humor. I would recommend these people and company to anyone. My move was even more complicated because it entailed packing and loading in Manhattan then unloading at two locations, one a storage unit in CT then our home in RI. The entire team was terrific starting with my daily contact Diane Gaines straight through the packers, Gary, Tom and Wilbur really Jim to the loaders lead by Patrick, with his supporting team of Dario (Poppo) Juan, Elmer, David and one other gentleman whose name I’m forgetting. All were terrific, on time, with excellent communication throughout the process. An amazing experience that could have gone wrong in so many ways but instead proved to be stress free and enjoyable.

Moving is an all encompassing job made even more so with a cross country move. Maffucci made all the arrangements and enlisted Patrick and Don once we were situated in Denver. These two could not have been more thorough or friendly. Each item coming off the truck was checked and accounted for. They delivered within the constraints of our Condo regulations taking time, day and locale into account. They were efficient and so personable. After hearing they next were to travel 700 miles to California, we sent them off with breakfast, drinks, snacks and save driving wishes.
